Samsung continues to test Android 7.0 Nougat for the Galaxy S7/S7 edge, so those who have been accepted in the beta program can install beta builds and check out some of the new features and improvements the South Korean handset maker plans to add.

We reported less than two weeks ago about one of these Android 7.0 Nougat builds received by members of the Galaxy Beta Program with Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge devices. Apparently, Samsung changed the name of its TouchWiz UI into “Samsung Experience.”

The information was 100% correct, since a set of screenshots proved Samsung plans to switch from TouchWiz to a new name for its user interface.

Today, a new report coming from a Dutch website, confirms once again that the new UI included in the Galaxy S7/S7 edge along with Android Nougat update will be called “Samsung Experience.”

An official logo registration filed on December 15 confirms Samsung plans to change the name of its UI to “Samsung Experience.” However, this isn't the first time the South Korean company wants to use another name for its UI.

Some of you might remember that the Galaxy S III launched on the market with Nature UX, but people continued to refer to Samsung's UI as TouchWiz.

We're not sure if Samsung Experience will have the same faith, as TouchWiz seems to be stuck with most Samsung fans.

While Samsung Experience is likely to be included on the Galaxy S7/S7 edge smartphones first, the Galaxy S8 will be the first smartphone to come with the new UI pre-installed, as well as Android Nougat, right out of the box.

On a side note, Samsung has already confirmed that both the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge will be updated directly to Android 7.1 Nougat, which brings a couple of new features and improvements over the previous version.
