Perhaps Karl Marx is not the best person to cite when describing your upcoming game, but his political views aside, he was quite brilliant. At one point in his life, Karl Marx said that “revolutions are the locomotives of history.” Well, the next game coming from developer Lapovich Team and publisher 1C Entertainment, Kapital: Sparks of Revolution, could be very well hyped with that quote from Karl Marx.

Kapital: Sparks of Revolution is a society management title about class struggle. If you like sandbox economy simulation games, then Kapital: Sparks of Revolution might be right up your alley. Although the game doesn't have a release date yet, 1C Entertainment revealed plans to launch it this fall on PC via Steam and other digital platforms.

In Kapital: Sparks of Revolution, players take the role of a new mayor of a 20th-century city that was recently destroyed by the Great War. Their main mission is to restore the city to its former glory by managing limited resources to satisfy people’s needs, bringing new laws, and unlocking new technologies.

More importantly, the game forces players to fight crime and suppress protests, as well as resolve social conflicts to shape the future of society. There's a certain level of depth to the game, as the population of the city consists of three classes: nobles, bourgeois, and workers.

However, since each class has its own agenda, some people's needs will remain unsatisfied. Once you decide which class to support, you must prepare for protests and riots from the other classes. The catch is to maintain a balance between satisfying the needs of the many, as opposed to those of the few.

Anyway, if what you've read about the game feels appealing to you, don't forget to wishlist Kapital: Sparks of Revolution on Steam before its release later this fall.
