The smartphone could be unveiled tomorrow

Samsung has taken to its official Twitter account to share two short videos about an upcoming smartphone in the Galaxy On series. Apparently, the smartphone will be unveiled tomorrow and it will be sold exclusively through Flipkart.

The teaser doesn’t reveal much about the upcoming smartphone, except for the fact that it has a full metal unibody. The phone runs an octa-core chip and it might sport a rear-facing camera with an LED flash.

The Galaxy On Nxt will be unveiled in India tomorrow, October 20, and it will be the second phone to be revealed lately in the Galaxy On series. The first one was the Galaxy On8, which was unveiled last month in India and is available for purchase on Flipkart.

The Galaxy On8 has a 5.5-inch display and Full HD resolution, being the first smartphone in the series to come with a Super AMOLED display. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and features a 1.6 GHz Exynos 7280 octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM.

Aside from this, its internal storage reaches 16GB with the option to expand to 128GB using a microSD card. Moreover, the smartphone has a 13MP rear camera with autofocus, LED flash, HDR and 1080p video recording. The 5MP front camera with LED flash can be used for snapping pictures and conducting video calls.

Battery capacity on the Galaxy On8 smartphone reaches 3,300mAh and the device has a microUSB 2.0 port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also has multiple connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.1.

The Galaxy On8 was made available in multiple color options, including black, gold and white. The price or even full specs list of the upcoming Galaxy On Nxt is unknown, all details on the smartphone will be revealed during tomorrow’s unveiling.
