We're more than two months away from the unveiling of Samsung Galaxy S7 and information about the upcoming flagship smartphone continues to pour in.

The first live pictures of the Galaxy S7's chassis leaked from China last week, along with some details on the phone's specs.

Today, new info on some of the new features the Galaxy S7 will pack over the previous models has just popped up online.

According to a new report coming from Wall Street Journal, Samsung Galaxy S7 will include some features that are already present in other smartphones launched by Huawei, LG and Apple.

For example, the Galaxy S7 will come with a pressure-sensitive display that will be able to interpret various types and touches depending on the force with which the touch is applied. This is the same piece of technology included in Apple's iPhone 6S that was launched several weeks ago.

But that's not the only new feature included in the Galaxy S7. The same report claims that smartphone will pack a USB Type-C port for faster data transfers.

As many of you probably know by now, Samsung plans to launch at least two versions of the Galaxy S7. The standard model will come with a flat panel whereas the edge variant will pack a curved display.

MicroSD card slot makes a comeback

Well, it appears that the flat version of Samsung Galaxy S7 might come with microSD card slot for memory expansion. The same feature might not be possible for the curved model, but the information hasn't been confirmed yet.

Samsung Galaxy S7 will also pack an enhanced camera, which will be specially optimized for low-light snapshots. Also, the rear-facing camera might not be bulged out from the back cover, like on the Galaxy S6's.

The South Korean company also considers adding a retina scanner, but only to some versions of the Galaxy S7. The smartphone is expected to be unveiled in late February at MWC 2016, and will be available for purchase from mid-March.
