S Pen could launch on the Galaxy S21 too

Samsung’s S Pen is the signature feature of the Galaxy Note, with every single model launch so far coming with an improved stylus for writing and drawing on the screen.

But this could all change with the debut of the Galaxy S21 next year, as the South Korean company reportedly wants to bring the S Pen to this model too.

More specifically, there’s at least one Galaxy S21 configuration that would come with the stylus, and interestingly enough, the Note might no longer be offered as a stand-alone model.

More specifically, this new report indicates that Samsung wants to launch just two major mobile devices every year, and these are the Galaxy S lineup and the foldable lineup. So what’s happening with the Note?

While no information appears to exist in this regard, the Note can very well become a version of the Galaxy S21.

Launch in early 2021

More specifically, Samsung is believed to be working on three Galaxy S21 models which are codenamed M1, N2, and O3. Out of the trio, only O3 is believed to be equipped with the S Pen, and there’s a chance this is the next Note that would be part of the Galaxy S series.

Certainly, there’s more to discover on this front, but this isn’t the first time we hear that Samsung wants to merge the Galaxy S and the Note lineups. At the end of the day, this is something that just makes sense, especially because the hardware on the two devices, including here the screens, the cameras, and the processors, are pretty much the same.

For now, Samsung has obviously remained completely tight-lipped on everything, but the S21 should be projected to go live in early 2021. In other words, expect more information on the new models to surface in the coming months as we get closer to the rumored launch date.
