If you’ve ever used a Samsung phone, you probably heard of Good Lock already. And if you didn’t, you should totally give it a try because it can entirely change your experience with the device.

Developed by Samsung, Good Lock is an amazing suite of utilities that provide Galaxy phone owners with all kinds of goodies to personalize their mobile devices.

It’s not available pre-loaded on Samsung phones, and more important, it’s not available in all regions either, though it’s still possible to install it regardless of the country you live in if you know where to search for guidance.

The first update of 2022

Good Lock is a suite that’s continuously evolving, and now Samsung is working on rolling out the first update of the year to customers out there.

Scheduled to go live this year, this new version of Good Lock will come with rather small improvements, though this makes sense given it’s just the first release in 2022.

For example, when taking a screenshot, the image will no longer be saved automatically in the photo gallery. The user will be provided with options, such as sharing or deleting the screenshot.

Good Lock will also allow users to create their own stickers because really why not. This is a feature that’s getting more and more popular, and Samsung is trying to make the experience overall as straightforward as possible.

Overall, Good Lock is getting better, and I still find it hard to understand why Samsung isn’t making this piece of software available for everybody out there. Especially since there are ways to bypass the availability restrictions, that is, so the South Korean company should just do the logical thing and allow everybody out there to download the pack.

It’s one great suite of tools that every Galaxy user should give a try to.
