Samsung is accelerating the rollout of the new Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update, and more devices are getting it as we speak.

According to a recent report from SamMobile, the South Korean tech company has recently given the go-ahead of the One UI 4.0 update for the Galaxy S20 and the Note 20, so if you have one of these two devices, you should just go check for updates right now.

At this point, only Samsung’s flagships are getting the new update, but the rollout should expand to more devices in its lineup beginning in early 2022.

The same source claims the company has also started the rollout of Android 12-based One UI 4.0 to the Galaxy S10 lineup, including not only the standard model but also the Galaxy S10e and the Galaxy S10+.

Needless to say, the rollout is taking place in stages and only happening in some regions, so it could take a few more days before it shows up on your device.

New Samsung product launches just around the corner

Samsung is working on multiple fronts at this point, as the company not only that’s working on bringing the One UI 4.0 update to more devices but is also giving the finishing touches to new devices that will go live in a few days or week.

The next in the queue is the Galaxy S21 FE, which should see the daylight in early January, possibly a day or two before CES. The Galaxy S21 FE was originally supposed to launch this year, but the unveiling has been pushed back to January due to the component shortage hitting the entire world.

Then, Samsung is gearing up to take the wraps off the Galaxy S22, which according to various sources,s should launch in late January or early February.
