Samsung has officially unveiled the new Galaxy Note20, and just as expected, the lineup includes two different models.

First and foremost, we have the standard Note20, which comes with a 6.7-inch 60Hz AMOLED display and three different cameras on the back, namely a 12-megapixel f/1.8 primary sensor, 64-megapixel f/1.8 telephoto and 12-megapixel f/2.2 ultrawide.

The front-facing camera for selfies and video calls is a 10-megapixel f/2.2 unit.

The device is available with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, with no other choice available in these regards. Power comes from a 4,300 mAh unit.

The Galaxy Note20 Ultra is the model that Samsung hopes most people would buy, as it features upgraded specs and a 6.9-inch 120Hz screen. This time, the camera setup comprises a 108-megapixel f/1.8 primary lens, a 12-megapixel f/3.0 telephoto sensor, and a 12-megapixel f/2.2 ultrawide unit. The front-facing camera is the same as on the smaller sibling.

Snapdragon 865+ processor

The Note20 Ultra features 12GB RAM and comes with a choice of two storage options, namely 12GB and 512GB. A microSD card is also offered – such an option isn’t available on the standard Note20.

The battery is obviously larger – 4,500 mAh, and both Note20 models come with wireless charging and fast charging via USB-C.

The processor that both the Note20 series is the Snapdragon 865+, and other specs include 5G, Bluetooth 5.0, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, NFC, and IP68 water resistance.

Needless to say, the S Pen has also received a series of upgrades, as this is the feature that sets the Note20 aside from the rest of the Samsung phones on the market. For example, Samsung wants its note-taking app to make more sense when working with a desktop device, so it now syncs across phones, Samsung tablets, and Windows 10 devices.

The cameras support 8K video recording at 24fps, while the Pro mode has been further enhanced with additional options like exposure, zoom speed, and others. If you’re using Samsung’s wireless earbuds, the Note20 can record videos with audio coming from the headphones.

As far as the pricing is concerned, the Note20 is available from $999, while the Note20 Ultra starts at $1,2999.
