All as part of a campaign for certain U.S. models

What’s the worst thing that could happen to your Samsung smartphone? No, not a battery that explodes, but a display that breaks down after a brutal drop on the ground.

We’ve all been there. A shiny new smartphone that typically doesn’t come cheap ends up having an ad-hoc encounter with the tough floor or right with the cruel tarmac. The results can be just one: the display ends up completely shattered, in which case a full screen replacement is the only way to go.

The sad part is that the screen repairs are typically the most expensive.

And given Samsung phones are all-screen these days, it goes without saying such a repair comes with a hefty price tag.

Well, not anymore, or at least, not right now. Samsung has launched a special promo in the United States that allows owners of select models to fix their broken screens for no less than $100.

Exclusive to the United States

Spotted by SamMobile and posted on Slickdeals, this campaign comes with the same price regardless of the phone that you want to service.

And the good news is that several phone models are included in the campaign, including even the recently launched Galaxy S22. Older models are covered too, including the Galaxy Note 20, Note 10, and even the rather old Note 9.

On the other hand, if you bought a foldable and you broke its screen, that’s not only bad luck but also bad news because the campaign doesn’t include these models. The Galaxy Fold and the Z Flip, as well as their successors, are not included in the promo, so you’ll still have to pay a small fortune to have them repaired.

Of course, the promo only runs in the United States, and it’s scheduled to come to an end on March 28.
