The smartphone was listed on Samsung China website

Samsung Galaxy On7 (2016) was recently spotted in a benchmark test and it received FCC certification, which usually means that the device will arrive soon. It seems that Samsung didn't leave fans waiting for long and listed the Galaxy On7 (2016) on its website in China.

So Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy On7 (2016) in China, and the smartphone seems to be powered by an octa-core 2GHz processor, specifically the Snapdragon 625 SoC, and comes with a 5.5-inch full HD TFT display.

RAM capacity on the new smartphone reaches 3GB with 32GB of internal memory, which can be expanded to up to 256GB using a microSD card. Additionally, the Galaxy On7 comes with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture and 1080p video recording capacity.

It also has a 9MP front camera with f/1.9 aperture and comes with a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button and NFC support, which means it works with Samsung Pay.

Dual SIM support is also included on the feature list and Android 6.0 Marshmallow is the OS powering the smartphone, which also comes with Samsung Knox mobile security solution. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS/ GLONASS.

The device draws power from a 3,300mAh battery with fast charging, it weighs around 167 grams and measures 151.7 x 75 x 8mm. It will be available in three color variants, including black, gold and pink.

Galaxy On7 (2016) carries a price tag of about $240 in China and it's unsure if Samsung will make the phone available in other markets as well.

The company is expected to launch the Galaxy On5 (2016) soon, considering that the device was teased on the Galaxy On7 (2016) page. Apparently, it will come with an octa-core 1.5GHz processor and Snapdragon 617 SoC.
