Samsung recently unveiled the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones, but it seems that the company will make a more powerful variant available, one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Sadly, the version will be available for purchase only in South Korea and China.

Samsung Korea has recently revealed that the Galaxy S8+ with 6GB of RAM is already available for pre-order until April 17. The same variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage will make its way to the market in China. As far as we could gather, only China and South Korea will receive the 6GB of RAM version of the Galaxy S8+.

Currently, only the Midnight Black color option is available, while the variant’s price surpasses the 1,000 mark. The Galaxy S8+ can be purchased for $1,032 with an installment plan or $1,135 contract-free. Starting today, the phone is available at Samsung’s online store and retail locations of various partners in the country.

Samsung is offering a free DeX Station with pre-orders for the Galaxy S8+

Every customer that pre-orders the Galaxy S8+ with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage will be able to receive a free DeX Station, priced at $150. Samsung also stated that the company would support 50% of the screen replacement fee within one year after the purchase date, but only for one replacement.

Customers in Korea will also receive three months’ use of YouTube and YouTube Red free of advertisement. Aside from the higher RAM capacity and more internal memory, this Galaxy S8+ variant has the same specs as the model announced more than a week ago.

This means that it runs the latest Snapdragon 835 platform, has a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display and a 3,500mAh battery. Moreover, it features a 12MP single-lens camera on the back and an 8MP selfie snapper in the front, together with an iris scanner. Among the two recently announced phones, demand for the Galaxy S8+ seems to increase rapidly and Samsung even ramped up production for the larger model.
