Samsung unveiled its latest smartwatch, the Gear S3, about a week ago, but pricing and availability weren’t revealed for this highly anticipated device. Now it seems that information has surfaced online, indicating that the smartwatch will arrive on November 4.

Samsung might be releasing its Gear S3 smartwatch on November 4, according to SamMobile. The disclosure comes from a tweet made by Samsung Netherlands on its official Twitter account, but it doesn’t mention if the release date is for all regions or just Europe.

Considering that the announcement has been made by the division in the Netherlands, chances are the Gear S3 will arrive in Europe on November 4.

Samsung’s Gear S3 could be made available at major US carriers later this year

Major US carriers have already confirmed that they will carry the Gear S3 and that the smartwatch will be released later this year. However, pricing details weren’t provided.

The Gear S3 comes with measurements similar to its predecessor, the Gear S2. The smartwatch has a 46mm casing and a 1.3-inch display while the screen’s resolution reaches 360 x 360 pixels.

The Gear S3 comes in two design options: Frontier, created for active users, and Classic with an elegant feel to the smartwatch. In addition, Frontier boasts military-grade protection and shock resistance while the Gear S3 Classic has a stainless steel design. The display on the Gear S3 Frontier is protected with Gorilla Glass SR+, specifically designed for smartwatches.

The Gear S3 comes with rotating bezels for users to answer calls easily, and it runs the latest version of Tizen OS. It has a dual-core 1.0GHz Exynos 7270 processor, 4GB of internal memory, and 768MB of RAM. In addition, users can pick from more than 10,000 applications available for the Gear S3.

IP68 certification is also available, which means that the smartwatch is protected from damage that could occur due to water and dust.
