Good news for Samsung fans, as the South Korean company is one step closer to revealing the highly-anticipated Galaxy Tab S3 lineup. Its next-generation tablets were to be announced last year in fall, but probably due to the Galaxy Note 7's recall, Samsung has decided to postpone the launch of the Galaxy Tab S3 series.

News about the Galaxy Tab S3 tablet emerged last year in August when industry sources confirmed Samsung would introduce its new product at IFA 2016 trade fair in September.

However, for the reasons mentioned earlier, Samsung delayed the announcement. Fast forward a few months until October and a new report claimed the South Korean company was planning to launch the Galaxy Tab S3 tablets in the first quarter of 2017.

The slate was spotted both at FCC and TENAA, the US and Chinese regulatory commissions, with model number Samsung SM-T825. The only other certifications that the tablet needs before Samsung could release it on the market are those for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Well, it appears that the Samsung SM-T825 tablet has paid Bluetooth.org and Wi-Fi.org a visit. The tablet now features both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth certification and is just one step closer to being officially unveiled.

Unfortunately, not many things are known about the Galaxy Tab S3's specs. However, rumor has it that the tablet will ship with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow right out of the box, which would be a bad thing considering the new version of Android has been released for so many months.

Hopefully, Samsung had enough time after the delay of the announcement to add Android 7.0 Nougat on its Galaxy Tab S3 lineup. Otherwise, it will have to provide it as an update soon after the slate's market release.

We're expecting the Galaxy Tab S3 to pack a similar display to its predecessor, but Samsung is likely to add more powerful and newer chipsets inside.
