More than a week ago, we reported that Samsung was working on a brand new tablet to release to the market, one that would have an S Pen incorporated. While not many details on the specs of the device were revealed, it seems that the Galaxy Tab A (2016) has leaked in yet another batch of images.

The new pictures seem to be press renders and show the device from all of its angles. The images have been posted by SamMobile and showcase the Galaxy Tab A (2016) in a black design.

The tablet seems quite slim, and one of the images shows the back panel with the rear camera and the Samsung branding below. Home and navigation buttons are visible in the picture of the front panel, and the tablet has the Samsung branding on the front as well.

The new tablet with S Pen could have the same specs as the Galaxy Tab A 10.1

The report mentions that the Galaxy Tab A (2016) with S Pen (SM-P580) looks identical to the existing Galaxy Tab A 10.1, and it really does.

Both of them have the same display size, but the new variant comes incorporated with the S Pen and all of the new features that it brings, including Air Command and the option to translate words by simply hovering the stylus above them. In addition, the S Pen will come with screen off memo and the new Samsung Notes.

Galaxy Tab A (2016) with S Pen should feature roughly the same specs as the tablet released earlier this year. This means a 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor, together with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable memory.

Battery capacity on the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 reached 7,300mAg. Then, while rear camera capacity was 8MP, there was also a 5MP unit on the front. The tablet also ran Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It remains to be seen when Samsung will announce this new tablet with S Pen and provide details on its specs, pricing, and availability.
