Samsung is preparing for the Unpacked event on March 29, while new renders of the smartphone continue to surface online. Yesterday, we revealed the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ in a number of colors, and today it’s time to take a closer look at the S8 in Orchid Gray and Black Sky.

Evan Blass is back with another render of the Galaxy S8, one that shows the front and back panel of the Orchid Gray and Black Sky color variants. We must say that the first color option is a rather gray variant with just a subtle hint of purple, making it pleasing to the eye and not as ostentatious as previous orchid shades that we’ve seen.

The Black Sky option offers a shiny and polished color, somewhat resembling the Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus. It’s worth mentioning that the top and bottom bezels on both the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ come in black, regardless of the back panel’s color.

Samsung posted another teaser video of the Galaxy S8

To build up hype before the unveiling, Samsung released another teaser video in Korea, one that counts to the number 8 and shows a man walking across the room and opening a door that appears to have the same shape as the Galaxy S8. The text that appears translates to “Completion and new beginning,” which suggests that Samsung employed a significant change in its mobile division and is heading towards a new phase.

The March 30 date for the Unpacked event appears over the screen, which coincides with the New York City and London events on March 29, considering the major difference in time zones. Other than that, the video hints at the new design in the Galaxy S series, much like previous teasers did.

Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and S8+ will come with Bixby, the company’s own virtual assistant, which was introduced just yesterday and which will be made available to multiple other Samsung products.
