Another render based on the leaked picture from last week

The first major leak related to Samsung's Galaxy S8 dates from last week when a picture of the upcoming phone and some of details about its specs were published by VentureBeat.

Unfortunately, the Galaxy S8 won't be officially introduced next month at MWC 2017 trade fair, and if we are to believe the previous leaks, Samsung plans to announce the flagship on March 29.

It's also worth mentioning that the phone will not be released on the market until April 21. However, some say that customers in South Korea will be able to grab the Galaxy S8 one week earlier, on April 14.

Until then, designer Benjamin Geskin released a new render of the Galaxy S8, which is based on the picture of the phone leaked by Evan Blass last month.

All the details the leakster mentioned in his report are there including the fingerprint sensor on the back side, as well as the dedicated button for Samsung's digital assistant, Bixby. The Galaxy S8 will feature a bezel-less design, something that's well reflected in Geskin's render.

Even the top and bottom bezels are so small that Samsung won't have room to put its brand on the front side of the smartphone. The only Samsung logo that you'll get is placed on the back side, right below the LED flash, camera, and fingerprint sensor.

If you haven't read our previous Galaxy S8 report, then you should know that the smartphone is said to feature something called “infinity display,” which is in fact a glass that covers the entire front side.

Although Samsung is expected to launch two Galaxy S8 models with large 5.7-inch and 6.2-inch displays, neither will be flat.

The South Korean company has decided to go all in with the dual-edge curved display, so there will probably be a lot of fans disgruntled by this decision.
