14 DAY TRIAL // Samsung has already disclosed that its next flagship smartphone will arrive on March 29, during an event that will be held in London and New York. Samsung Galaxy S8 leaked earlier today in a render posted by Evan Blass.
The latest report shows several live images of the Galaxy S8, posted by BGR. The leaked live pictures reveal an AT&T variant of the Galaxy S8 in a black color that’s very similar to previous leaks and renders.
The phone has a larger top bezel than the bottom, and features a curved display, along with curved corners. In addition, on-screen buttons are visible at the bottom of the screen, while the power/lock button is located on the right side. Volume and Bixby buttons are placed on the left side of the phone.
USB Type-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack
The front camera on the Galaxy S8 is visible, with a number of sensors above the display, one of which is surely the iris scanner. Samsung first introduced an iris scanner on the Galaxy Note 7 and the company is expected to bring the technology to its next flagship as well.
There’s also an earpiece at the top and the SIM card slot. The USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack and loudspeaker are located at the bottom of the device.
Sadly, there’s no image of the back panel of the Galaxy S8. Considering that Samsung decided to ditch the physical home button on its upcoming flagship, the fingerprint sensor would be located at the back, next to the rear camera.
The Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be announced later this month and will be made available for purchase in late April. The phones will feature the latest Qualcomm processor and Samsung’s own virtual assistant Bixby. The two variants will be similar in design, except for the fact that the standard S8 will have a 5.8-inch screen, while the larger model will feature a 6.2-inch display.
