Based on the latest information about the flagships

Although we're more than a month away from the unveil of the Samsung Galaxy S8, LG's flagship smartphone, the G6 will be officially introduced at the end of this week.

If you haven't seen your fair share of leaked images showing either of the two flagships, there are two more that reveal both the front and back sides of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6.

Well-known leakster Evan Blass recently published two pictures of the Galaxy S8 and G6, complete with cases. Even though the smartphones are encased, the cases are transparent, so we're able to see everything from both sides of the devices.

However, if you've read the latest news about either of the two smartphones, then you already know what they're supposed to look like. As many of you probably know by now, Samsung has decided to put the fingerprint scanner in a rather unusual location next to the rear-facing camera, on the right side.

The positioning of the fingerprint sensor on the Galaxy S8 is not just awkward but also quite unfortunate because the function will be hard to reach even for those with long fingers.

The good news is Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with an iris scanner in the front, so if you want extra security and believe that the fingerprint scanner isn't a valid option due to the unusual positioning, this would be a decent alternative.

Next to the main camera, on the left side, the Galaxy S8 features a LED flash. Samsung's flagship won't include a dual-lens camera setup though.

On the other hand, the upcoming LG G6 does feature a dual-camera on the back side, as well as dual-LED flash. Likewise, the G6 comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, but it's much better positioned right below the main camera.

The picture also shows the newly redesigned LG UX that will come pre-loaded on the G6. Even though it resembles the current version of the UI, the South Korean company did some major visual enhancements.
