Samsung is expected to announce its next flagships on March 29, during the Unpacked event which will be held in New York City and London. Multiple images and even a video of the upcoming phones have leaked recently, but the latest picture is the first to show the two phones side by side.

The image was leaked over at SlashLeaks and it reveals the difference in size between the two phones. As many of you already know, the Galaxy S8 will have a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution, while the same screen type will be found on the Galaxy S8+, but with a larger display of 6.2 inches.

The Galaxy S8+ would be larger and is expected to have a 3,500mAh battery, while the standard model could draw power from a 3,000mAh battery.

The two phones could be launched on April 28

The leaked pictures also show the iris scanner on the Galaxy S8, together with the front camera. They also reveal that there won't be many differences in design between the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, as the devices will both have curved displays and fingerprint scanners relocated to the back.

Moreover, the smartphones will come with 3.5mm headphone jacks and dedicated buttons for Samsung’s own virtual assistant, Bixby. USB Type-C ports are expected on the new phones and some say that the company might even announce a new dedicated Gear VR on March 29.

Aside from this, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will run the latest Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 SoC, depending on the market, and will feature 4GB of RAM. Samsung has reportedly delayed the launch of the new flagships because of low production yields of the processors inside. The launch date was reportedly set for April 28, while pre-orders could also be delayed from April 10 to a later date. Samsung will most likely officially announce the dates on March 29.
