14 DAY TRIAL // Although we're still several months away from the unveiling of Samsung's next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S7, it looks like the first details about the handset have just emerged.
Some of you probably know by now that Samsung is said to have sent its own engineers to help Qualcomm test its new Snapdragon 820 chipset, so that the South Korean company can be sure that the processor won't have any overheating issues or other problems.
This means that Samsung is likely to include the Snapdragon 820 chipset inside its Galaxy S7 next year when the smartphone is scheduled for reveal.
Today, as pointed out by GforGames, another rumor coming directly from South Korea claims Samsung might launch not one, but two Galaxy S7 models. What's more interesting is that these two models won't be different judging on the amount of storage.
It appears that Samsung plans to launch a standard Galaxy S7 model with 5.2-inch display, as well as a larger one with 5.8-inch touchscreen.
Both displays might support 4K resolution
Moreover, the Galaxy S7's display is said to support 4K resolution, which is something that Sony Mobile introduced recently on the market inside its Xperia Z5 Premium smartphone.
Unfortunately, the report does not mention which of the two Galaxy S7 models will come with a 4K display, or if both of them will pack the same resolution touchscreens.
Other rumored specs indicate Samsung Galaxy S7 will come with 4GB RAM inside and at least 32GB of storage. There's no telling whether or not the South Korean company will decide to add a microSD card slot for memory expansion this time.
We also expect the Galaxy S7 to come preloaded with Android 6.0 Lollipop operating system right out of the box.
Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to be unveiled early next year, at Mobile World Congress 2016 trade fair, which is scheduled for late February / early March.
