It's not unusual for Samsung to launch different variants of its flagship smartphones, and the Galaxy S7 won't be an exception.

Samsung will launch two Galaxy S7 versions next year based on the chipset inside. One will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 processor while the other one should be equipped with Samsung's powerful Exynos 8 Octa 8890 CPU.

If you're a fan of Samsung's Exynos chipset, then you should know that the Galaxy S7 variant powered by this specific CPU won't be available at CDMA carriers.

A Samsung Galaxy S7 edge version is not out of the question either

The folks over at SamMobile have just learned about all the Galaxy S7 model numbers and the carriers where they will be made available. Here is the full list of Samsung Galaxy S7 variants that will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 CPU:

- Verizon - SM-G930V and SM-G935V - Sprint - SM-G930P and SM-G935P - US Cellular - SM-G930R4 and SM-G935R4 - China - SM-G9300 and SM-G9350 models

As mentioned earlier, the above Galaxy S7 models are CDMA versions, which will be available at the US and Chinese carriers.

Obviously, the unlocked (international) version of Galaxy S7 will be equipped with Exynos 8890 chipset, but here are the other models that will pack Samsung's chipset inside:

- T-Mobile - SM-G930T and SM-G935T - AT&T - SM-G930A and SM-G935A - Canada - SM-G930W8 and SM-G935W8 - Korean variants - SM-G930 S/K/L and SM-G935 S/K/L

Depending on your carrier's type of network, GSM or CDMA, you will be able to grab the Exynos or Qualcomm-powered Galaxy S7.

At least, that's what the latest rumors suggest, but since the information comes from an unofficial source, it's better to take it with a grain of salt and not be disappointed when Samsung announces the Galaxy S7 next year.
