Samsung is getting ready to take the wraps off its very anticipated Galaxy S23 series, and as we get closer to the February 1 Unpacked event, we get more and more information about the new devices.

At this point, there’s little we don’t know about the Galaxy S23, as even the pricing has leaked – the new models are expected to be more expensive than the Galaxy S22 lineup, with Samsung apparently planning a $100 price increase in the majority of markets.

A new press rendering that was published by Roland Quandt on Twitter presents the Galaxy S23 Ultra in all its glory. While it’s pretty clear that the design wouldn’t be much different from the model that it replaces, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will still be one of the most premium devices currently on the market.

The focus appears to be on the camera this time, and the little polishing given to the lenses add to the premium touch that the device is going to boast.

A new green color is also coming to the Ultra, and most likely, this is going to be the most desirable option in the entire lineup – previously, sources familiar with the matter said Samsung planned to offer this version of the Ultra only in Samsung stores, with the black sibling, for example, to also be available through retailers.

Probably one of the biggest changes on the upcoming device is the availability of the Snapdragon chip in all markets. The Galaxy S22 and all its predecessors were sold with a Qualcomm processor only in the United States, while the rest of the markets were provided with the Exynos chip.

The strategy seems to change for the 2023 generation, as the Qualcomm chip will be available alongside Exynos in all markets.
