While Samsung’s next big launch is the Galaxy S21 FE, which should take place in early January, most likely a day before CES, the company is also working around the clock on the highly anticipated debut of the Galaxy S22 lineup.

This time, the debut of the device is expected to happen either in late January or in early February, with sales to then kick off a couple of weeks later.

In theory, everybody should be able to buy the Galaxy S22 by the end of February, but of course, the timing could change, as I’m hearing that Samsung is continuously refining this calendar these days.

This is the Galaxy S22 Ultra in all its glory

In the meantime, while the South Korean company is remaining tight-lipped on everything related to the Galaxy S22, various sources across the world are busy leaking all kinds of details about the device.

Public launch in January or February

Most recently, Twitter user @hypark22 has shared real-life photos of the Galaxy S22 Ultra, therefore revealing the device in all its glory.

If you’ve been following the Galaxy S22 news lately, there’s not much to discover in these photos, as they reveal pretty much everything that has made the headlines before. The device comes in a matte black finish with a new camera bump design, which I think looks pretty cool and perfectly integrates into the back of the phone.

At first glance, the S22 Ultra more or less seems to be inspired from a design perspective by the Galaxy Note, and this makes sense given the two have been sharing most of their hardware lately. This could also be a sign that a new Note is coming this year, though for now, there’s no confirmation in this regard.

We’ll find out more about the new Galaxy S22 in a few weeks as we approach the launch date.
