Samsung allegedly expects shipping trouble for this model

Samsung Galaxy S22 is the next big release in the mobile industry, with the South Korean company projected to take the wraps off the device as soon as February.

The unveiling will take place on February 9, so Samsung is very likely to begin taking pre-orders shortly after the event. The shipping should start later the same month.

The lineup will include the same three models as before, namely the standard Galaxy S22, the Galaxy S22+, and the almighty Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Just like the current models on the market, the Ultra will come with the best Samsung has to offer right now, including support for the S Pen. And this will make the Ultra the model most people will want to buy, which in turn means Samsung expects to sell plenty of these once the launch takes place.

Massive waiting times

But according to leaker Dohyun Kim, who has a good track on Samsung leaks, the South Korean company is anticipating painful waiting times for the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

A tweet published earlier this week indicates that the demand for the Galaxy S22 Ultra could be so high “they are expected that the delivery might take about 3 months if bad.” Most likely, these painful waiting times are also the result of other problems, possibly related to the component shortage, though it goes without saying that waiting 3 months for a phone could make some people simply walk away.

Needless to say, nobody should take anything for granted at this point, especially because the unveiling of the device, which is the moment when we’ll finally find out everything officially, is just around the corner.

One thing is certain, though: the Ultra will be the best of the best, and there’s no doubt this is the number one model for most potential buyers.
