Samsung is projected to take the wraps off the new Galaxy S21 series in January, and a leak that happened a few weeks ago provided us with a super-early look at what this new device is supposed to bring new to the table.

But another leak that took place today adds a bunch of undisclosed tidbits, and this time, we get to find out more about the camera, the display, and the charging system coming on the S21.

Leakster Ice Universe claims the Galaxy S21 Ultra will come with a WQHD+ LTPO display with 120Hz refresh rate, but also with almost symmetrical bezels, which means Samsung is working on making the device look better when held in hand.

The star of the show in the camera department is a 108MP sensor, according to this new leak, while for charging, we’re going to get 45W support.

The launch will take place in January

Samsung typically unveils its new Galaxy S flagships in February, but the S21 is likely to go live earlier than anticipated, all because of South Koreans’ desire to bring a new iPhone rival to the market as soon as possible.

It’s not a secret the Galaxy S20 didn’t sell exactly as anticipated, so Samsung now wants to fix things with a more successful S21, which means that bringing to the market as early as possible has now become a priority.

According to people familiar with Samsung’s plans, the S21 unveiling will happen in mid-January, while the pre-order program will go live the same week. Deliveries would kick off later the same month, so all in all, the S21 will have one extra month on the market as compared to its predecessors.

Needless to say, these are all rumors at this point and some skepticism is recommended.
