One of the most important unveilings of the year in the smartphone market is the Galaxy S21, and while Samsung will finally share everything on this new model as part of a January 14 event, here’s more information coming through unofficial yet super-reliable channels.

This time, we’re getting a closer look at the Galaxy S21 through some official marketing materials coming from serial leakster @OnLeaks, only a few days before the actual launch of the device.

While I won’t comment too much on what eyes can see, it’s important to know the Galaxy S21 lineup will include upgrades for all three models announced in 2020.

In other words, we’ll be getting a Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. Needless to say, the Ultra will be the top-of-the-range configuration and will come with so many exclusive upgrades.

The first step towards the demise of the Note series

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will come with support for the S Pen, which means it’ll be the first Galaxy S model to work with a stylus.

Until now, this feature was exclusive to the Galaxy Note lineup, and this migration to the Galaxy S series is one of the first steps towards an important change in Samsung’s portfolio of products.

The Galaxy Note model is expected to get the ax sooner or later, and it’s believed the Note21 launching in the summer of this year would be the last version to ever see the daylight. Starting with 2022, Samsung will focus entirely on the Galaxy S21 Ultra for pen capabilities.

The S21 Ultra wouldn’t come with a dedicated slot for the S Pen but only be offered with a dedicated case where the stylus can be placed. The case would be sold separately, according to reports.
