The work on the all-new Samsung Galaxy S21 is believed to be in the final stages right now, and more and more information coming through unofficial channels provide us with an early look at this new high-end Android device.

People close to the matter said earlier this year that the Galaxy S21 would launch earlier than usual, pretty much because Samsung needs a high-end model on the market as soon as possible. This is mostly because the Galaxy S20 itself isn’t selling exactly as anticipated, and with the iPhone 12 live already, it’s pretty clear that the company needs to act fast.

So according to these unofficial sources, the Galaxy S21 was supposed to be unveiled in mid-January and then go on sale later the same month.

This is something that makes sense give all of the above, though according to a new report from Android Headlines, this isn’t really the timing that Samsung has in mind for the new models.

S Pen support

In fact, they say citing people with knowledge of the matter, Samsung still wants to launch the Galaxy S21 in February, only that a specific ETA isn’t available right now. So at some level, the company wants to stick with the same timing as before.

Of course, it’s very important to take everything with a pinch of salt for the time being, as all these details come through unofficial channels and Samsung, of course, has nothing to say on the matter.

The Galaxy S21 is expected to come with support for the S Pen, and it’s believed that 2021 could also bring the end of the Note series. In other words, Samsung wants the Note to become a member of the Galaxy S lineup, though for now, the company sticks with baby steps and the S21 would just feature S Pen support without actually shipping with the stylus.
