Samsung is expected to take the wraps off the Galaxy Note20, as well as of the Galaxy Fold 2 and Galaxy Watch 3, on August 5, and according to new reports, the company could start shipping the new models some two weeks later.

According to South Korean media, the date when the Galaxy Note20 could finally hit the shelves is August 21, albeit for now, this appears to be the target only for Samsung’s domestic market.

In other words, this is the day when Samsung could start sales of the Galaxy Note20 in South Korea, but people close to the matter suggest that a similar ETA is planned for other large markets too, including the United States.

Of course, a confirmation in this regard isn’t yet available, but the timing seems just about right, as Samsung was anyway expected to begin shipping the new Note in late August.

Unveiling to take place on August 5

Samsung has obviously remained completely tight-lipped on everything related to the Galaxy Note20 as well, as the company wants the new model to be a full surprise for everyone.

The new Note will likely come in two versions, and according to a recent report, pricing could start at approximately $999 for the base model. The new Note will obviously be available with the best the company has to offer at this point, including the new Snapdragon 865 processor in some specific markets. The device will also be offered with an Exynos chip, and rumor has it that the other tech specs would include 512GB of storage and up to 16GB of RAM.

Of course, all of these are yet to be confirmed, but full information would be provided in less than a month at an August 5 event. Samsung should begin sending invites for the digital-only Unpacked event any day now.
