Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 is for sure one of the most anticipated smartphones to hit the market next month. The South Korean giant has timed this launch in a very strategic way, as it intends to grab the public’s attention one month before Apple is expected to unveil its new iPhone 7. Rumors on upcoming Note continue to pour in, with the latest creating quite a controversy around the handset’s screen size.

It has surely been a very eventful week, considering that specs and clear images of the Note 7 have leaked just one month before its official unveiling. Indeed, we already know some things about Samsung’s flagship, including RAM capacity, battery, and display size.

Images of the smartphone also leaked online, depicting the device’s design. The Note 7 is expected to come with a Snapdragon 821 or Exynos 8893, a 3,600mAh or 4000mAh battery, iris and fingerprint scanner, and obviously the S Pen.

The Note 7 was imported into India on July 1

Rumors revealed that the Note 7 would feature a 5.7-inch display, but it seems that new information has surfaced refuting what we previously knew. As it turns out, Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 has appeared on India’s import-export site Zauba, according to Digitseek, and the post reveals that the device might sport a 6-inch screen.

This stirs some controversy since the device could actually feature a much biggest screen than it was previously anticipated. The smartphone carries the codename SM-N930R4, which corresponds with the Galaxy Note 7. The device was imported into India on July 1 for testing in South Korea.

Aside from the listing, there are not many specifics to go on. This is the first time the Note 7 appears in a listing with a 6-inch screen, but there’s the possibility that this could be just an early prototype of the phone.

Still, there’s a small chance that this could be the real deal and the Note 7 could actually come with such a large display. Considering the nature of this rumor, it’s best if the information is taken with a grain of salt.

Either way, the August 2 unveiling will surely put all rumors to rest, as on this day, Samsung will finally reveal this exciting device during an event to be held in New York.
