14 DAY TRIAL // Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is presumably one month away from its unveiling, and it seems that the smartphone has leaked in unofficial renders that showcase its design. The blueprint renders give us an idea of how the smartphone will look and what to expect from Samsung.
The unofficial images have surfaced over at GSMArena and revealed that Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 will have a curved display, as suggested by the cases that leaked a few days ago. Indeed, case maker Olixar posted four case models up for sale, and they were all for Galaxy Note 7, the dual-edge variant. Each of the case models came in a different color.
Some hearsay suggests that Samsung won’t be releasing a flat variant of the Note 7, and the dual-edge 5.8-inch QHD Super AMOLED panel will be the only one to come on the smartphone. It’s difficult to say if the rumors are true at this point, but the confusion will surely clear on the unveiling date, August 2.
The Galaxy Note 7 will have USB Type-C port and iris scanner
Moving on from the display design, the technical drawings also show the iris scanner at the top of the front panel. An image of the iris scanner leaked recently, thus making us believe that an iris scanner would most likely be featured on the Note 7.
The renders also reveal the camera placement at the back, similar to that on the Galaxy S7. In addition, word is the Note 7 will come with a 12MP dual-pixel sensor with flash and a heart rate sensor.
Images of the smartphone’s back case show a single speaker grill, a microphone, and a symmetrical USB Type-C port. Moreover, the smartphone will come with a 3.5mm audio jack, and the SIM card tray will be present at the top side of the phone.
Rumors say the Galaxy Note 7 will draw power from a 3,600mAh battery and run Snapdragon 821 or Exynos 8893, depending on the region. It will also have 6GB of RAM and will be available in multiple storage options like 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB.
