If you've saved your wallet and haven't thrown money at Samsung for its newest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Note 5, then here is one more alternative that the South Korean company has for those having second thoughts.

Samsung has just launched the Winter Edition version of the Galaxy Note 5, and although the smartphone is only available in South Korea for the moment, we expect it to be rolled out in other countries very soon.

The Galaxy Note 5 Winter Edition is not much different from the regular model, with one exception - it packs no less than 128GB of internal memory.

Before Samsung officially unveiled the Galaxy Note 5, there were rumors the South Korean company would launch a 128GB model that would go along with the 32GB and 64GB variants.

However, only two Samsung Galaxy Note 5 versions were launched on the market this fall, so if you lost hope that you would ever see a 128GB variant, then here is your chance to make your dreams come true.

Assuming Samsung launches the Galaxy Note 5 Winter Edition in other countries, you will have to come up with at least $845 (€780) upfront to get it.

Available in two of the most popular color options

Customers in South Korean can purchase the flagship smartphone from today via major carriers SK Telecom and KT. It's available in both gold platinum and silver titanium, and it's priced at $845 for a limited time, so it might be more expensive beginning next year.

Since Samsung Galaxy Note 5 doesn't come with microSD card slot for memory expansion, the matter of storage is very important for consumers.

The Winter Edition is aimed at those who can't live with “just” 32GB or 64GB of storage on their Galaxy Note 5 phablets, but aside from that, there are no other advantages in getting this model.
