Enthusiasm for the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has skyrocketed ever since it became apparent that the Korean tech giant does indeed plan to unveil the phablet earlier than expected.

A few hours ago, we shared with you an image showcasing renders of dedicated Obliq cases for the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, which should arrive in the next few weeks. While the picture gave us some idea of how the phablet will look in real life, today we bring you a new batch of clean 3D renders showing the device in all its glory (as seen at Nowhereelse).

It’s not the first time we’re seeing Galaxy Note 5 renders, but these ones incorporate some details that weren’t available to us before. For example, the phablet will sport a glass back similar to what we have seen in the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge.

Furthermore, the device will have chamfered edges, a very thin bezel and a sturdy metal frame just like in the case of the company’s current flagship. While looking at these renders, you should be keeping in mind that these are unofficial representations, so the real deal might end up looking a bit differently.

We’re also provided with a bunch of sketches comparing the upcoming Galaxy Note 5 to the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge+.

We’ve also heard that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will end up sporting a larger 5.7-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with support for Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixel) resolution. There won’t be a microSD card slot inside the device, just like in the case of the Galaxy S6, and the battery is likely to be non-removable.

Moreover, the smartphone will be powered by Samsung’s homegrown all-in-one Exynos 7422 chipset, which accommodates a 64-bit octa-core processor, a Shannon LTE modem, and 4GB of RAM.

We’re also pretty curious to see what changes Samsung has in store for us in terms of software. While no much related to this matter has leaked online, we can tell you that the phablet might allow users to write directly in PDF files.
