14 DAY TRIAL // Samsung is one of the few handset makers that don't tell their customers if and when some of its products will receive Android updates.
There hasn't been any word from the South Korean company since the release of Android 6.0 Marshmallow a few months ago.
However, the rumor mill has already confirmed that Samsung plans a Marshmallow update for at least a dozen smartphones and tablets, including its latest flagship and high-end smartphones.
If you are inclined to believe these rumors that might or might not be accurate, then you already know that Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is among the devices that the handset maker plans to upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Obviously, we would expect that Samsung will deliver Marshmallow updates for the most recent devices available on the market, such as the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6, but we might be wrong.
According to a new report coming from Hungarian blog NapiDroid, Android 6.0 Marshmallow is already pushed to unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 4 devices in Hungary.
No word on the update for carrier-branded variants
We don't know whether or not this rollout is limited to a small number of Galaxy Note 4 users or Samsung has really started the deployment of the update.
It's quite strange that Galaxy Note 4 received this update before many other smartphones that have been released more recently.
Nevertheless, the cited source confirms Android 6.0 Marshmallow brings lots of new features and improvements to the Galaxy Note 4, including the new Air Command menu and a brand-new note-taking feature that can be used with the help of the S Pen allowing users to scribble notes.
It appears that both Poland and Hungary have become playgrounds for companies like LG and Samsung, as both have delivered Marshmallow update for its high-end smartphones in these countries.
We should wait and see whether or not Samsung continues to rollout of Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for Galaxy Note 4 in other European countries.
