Great news for Android fans looking for an affordable smartphone, as Samsung is readying yet another entry-level device, the Galaxy Core Prime Value Edition.

The phone hasn't been officially introduced in the country yet, but Galaxy Core Prime Value Edition is already listed on Samsung India webstore, a new report confirms.

It appears that customers in India will be able to purchase the Galaxy Core Prime Value Edition for only Rs 8,600 outright, which is about $130 or €115. It's also worth mentioning that the device will be available in three color options: Black, White and Gray.

While we don't know when exactly it will go on sale, at least we are aware of what it has to offer in terms of specs.

First of all, the handset ships with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system right out of the box. Some believe that this is actually a good thing since Lollipop comes with so many bugs and issues, so we'll just leave it at that.

A cheap smartphone with low-end specs

Hardware-wise, the Galaxy Core Prime Value Edition is equipped with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot.

Samsung Galaxy Core Prime Value Edition sports a 4.5-inch PLS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 800 x 480 pixel resolution.

Also, it packs a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash, and video recording, while on the front there's a secondary 2-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

The good news is the Galaxy Core Prime Value Edition comes with both 3G HSPA+ and dual-SIM support. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, microUSB 2.0, and GPS with AGPS support.

Last but not least, Samsung Galaxy Core Prime Value Edition is powered by a 2,000mAh battery with Ultra Power Saving Mode for longer continuous usage time.
