14 DAY TRIAL // The Galaxy C9 Pro, Samsung newest phablet, made its debut in China back in October 2016. Just like its predecessor, the smartphone was exclusively sold in the Mainland, but for whatever reasons, Samsung has decided to make it available in other countries as well.
Surprisingly though, one of the first countries to get the Galaxy C9 Pro is Bangladesh, not quite the most interesting market for Samsung.
The good news is the phone's availability will be expanded to additional countries in the coming months, so this is just the beginning.
After being released in Hong Kong and India last month, Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is now available for pre-order in Bangladesh.
As The Android Soul points out, those who pledge to buy the smartphone will also receive a Samsung Scoop Bluetooth speaker.
Another important aspect for those who want to pre-order the phablet is the fact that the phone is available in two color options: Gold and Black.
Spec-wise, the Galaxy C9 Pro is a more than decent mid-range smartphone that's been priced at around $550 in India. Customers in Bangladesh will have to pay around the same amount, but once the device makes it to other markets like Australia and Europe, it might be priced slightly higher.
Sadly, the smartphone ships with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system right out of the box, and it doesn't look like the Galaxy C9 Pro will be upgraded to Android 7.0 Nougat, at least not for a while.
The first thing one notices looking at the Galaxy C9 Pro is its large 6.0-inch display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution.
Under the hood, there's a powerful octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory (expandable via microSD card).
The back side features a 16-megapixel camera with autofocus LED flash, while in the front there's a similar 16-megapixel selfie shooter. Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery that features fast charging technology.
