Samsung has been working on three devices in the Galaxy C series and although information about the new smartphones has surfaced online, the latest report seems to confirm some specs for the upcoming Galaxy C5 Pro.

Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro was recently spotted on benchmarking site Geekbench and some of its specs were revealed. The smartphone carrying the code SM-C5010 received a 896 score during the single-core test and 4276 for the multi-core test.

The C5 Pro appears to run an octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2.21GHz. It has 4GB of RAM and runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The specs are in line with previous rumors about the new phone.

3,000mAh battery and 64GB of internal storage

Recent reports show that the Galaxy C5 Pro could have a full HD display resolution and a screen size of 5.2 or 5.5 inches. Internal storage capacity might reach 64GB, while the rear camera and front selfie snapper could have 16MP each. Battery capacity is rumored to reach 3,000mAh, while the phone could be priced at about $346 or €329.

The handset has recently received certification from TENAA and the FCC, as well as from the WiFi Alliance. Considering that it received all of its certifications and was even featured on multiple benchmarking sites, the Galaxy C5 Pro should arrive very soon.

Samsung recently unveiled the Galaxy C7 Pro with a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display and 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. The phone runs an octa-core 2.2GHz Snapdragon 625 SoC, coupled with Adreno 506 GPU.

It has 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, with the option to add 256GB using a microSD card. The C7 Pro has a 16MP front camera with f/1.9 aperture, showing that Samsung has started to pay extra attention to front camera capacity on its mid-range series. The phone draws power from a 3,300mAh battery and runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. Pre-orders have already been launched in China, and the C7 Pro sells for the price of $404.
