Samsung quietly launched the Galaxy C7 Pro in China at the start of this year and many expected the C5 Pro to be announced soon after that. However, Samsung took its time with the launch of the Galaxy C5 Pro and listed the phone on its website in China today.

The Galaxy C5 Pro was recently spotted during Samsung Forum 2017 in China last week and the phone had been leaked multiple times over the past few months.

The listing on the company’s China website reveals that the Galaxy C5 Pro measures 145.7 x 71.4 x 7mm and weighs 145 grams. The Galaxy C5 Pro features a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution.

The phone’s design is similar to that of the C7 Pro, with the redesigned antenna bands at the back and the curved corners. However, the C7 Pro is larger and comes with a bigger battery of 3,300mAh and a display of 5.7 inches with the same Full HD resolution.

4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage

The smartphone runs a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 626 processor and 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage and the option to expand to 256GB using a microSD card. Front and rear capacity on the phone reach 16MP with f/1.9 aperture, while the smartphone comes with USB Type-C port, a fingerprint sensor, and Samsung Pay support.

Moreover, it draws power from a 2,600mAh battery and features Always on Display, NFC, dual-SIM and 4G LTE support. The Galaxy C5 Pro is offered in three colors, gold, blue and pink, the same as the Galaxy C7 Pro. The phone’s price wasn’t revealed, but it should sell for about $362, compared to $404 for the C7 Pro. The Galaxy C5 Pro is expected to expand to other markets outside China, but it remains to be seen when that will happen.
