14 DAY TRIAL // The upcoming Galaxy C10 will be the first Samsung smartphone with a dual-camera setup on the back, and a new set of press renders confirms this. The images surfaced in a report from China and reveal the front and back side of the upcoming phone.
At first glance, the images clearly show a physical home button on the front panel of the Galaxy C10, one which will supposedly house the fingerprint sensor as well. The design of the home button is the same as on other Samsung smartphones, featuring an elliptical shape.
In addition, the front camera houses one sensor, placed on the left of the earpiece at the top. The back panel reveals the dual-camera setup, together with the dual-LED flash and it shows three antenna lines featured at the top of the rear panel. The lower side of the non-removable back panel also comes with antenna lines. The dual-camera system will feature wide-angle and telephone sensors.
The Galaxy C10 will feature a physical button for Bixby
The full set of specifications and pricing already leaked, pointing towards Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 inside the Galaxy C10. The same processor is expected to be featured on Motorola’s unannounced Moto X4, said to arrive on June 30.
Samsung Galaxy C10 is also said to come with 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, together with 6GB of RAM. The phone will have a 6-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display and come with an internal battery of 4,000mAh.
The renders also show that the Galaxy C10 will come with a physical button for Bixby, Samsung’s virtual assistant. The button will be placed on the side of the new phone, which will carry a price tag of about $515 in China for the 64GB of internal storage variant.
The Galaxy C10 is mainly designed for the market in China, and it’s unknown if the smartphone will be made available in other countries as well. Samsung will most likely unveil the new phone and reveal official details about its pricing and availability in the coming weeks.
