We reported last month that Samsung was working on new iterations of Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5, and Galaxy A7 (2017), and it seems that one of these devices has been spotted on a benchmarking site. Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) has appeared on GFXBench.

The smartphone bears the model number SM-A320x, and some of its specs have been revealed. Namely, the device will be coming with a 4.7-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. In addition, it will pack an Exynos 7870 SoC with an octa-core 1.5GHz CPU and Mali-T830 graphics processing unit.

The Galaxy A3 (2017) could also have 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which is extremely low, and the final version of the phone will most likely come with more. The handset could also provide users with the option to add more internal storage space with a microSD card.

Nevertheless, the smartphone will sport a 12MP rear camera and an 8MP unit on the front for making video calls and capturing selfies. The Galaxy A3 (2017) also seems to run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.

The device spotted on the benchmarking site could be the successor to the Galaxy A3 (2016) released a while ago. The smartphone came with a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display with 720p resolution. It also had a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. Rear camera capacity reached 13MP while a 5MP unit was featured on the front.

The Galaxy A3 (2017) could be announced together with the Galaxy A5 (2017) and the Galaxy A7 (2017), which just yesterday surfaced over at GFXBench. The smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display and seems to run an octa-core 1.8GHz CPU. It also has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. The device also runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box and has an impressive 16MP front camera. Rear camera capacity is also 16MP.
