The customization pack is now live in more regions

Samsung’s One UI already comes with plenty of customization options, but on the other hand, the South Korean company has long been providing users with even additional settings on this front through a pack of tools called Good Lock.

If you’ve never tried Good Lock, that’s perfectly fine. And if you’ve never heard of it either, that’s totally understandable.

For some reason, Samsung has until now limited the availability of Good Lock only to a handful of regions, including the United States and South Korea. Nobody knew the reason, though, as Good Lock was a pack of tools that just made sense for pretty much everybody.

Despite the limited availability, installing Good Lock was still possible in the easiest possible way: using a VPN connection to a server located in a market where the pack was already available. So in just a few minutes, you could still get Good Lock up and running, even though, technically, the software wasn’t available in your market.

The South Korean phone maker has apparently noticed just how ridiculous the whole thing has been, and this week, it decided to expand the availability of Good Lock. The pack of customizations is now live in more markets, including Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Malaysia, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Sweden, and Thailand.

Needless to say, Good Lock still isn’t available in all regions across the world, but it’s pretty clear it’s all just a matter of time until another announcement on this front is released.

Right now, if you want to download Good Lock, just head over to the Galaxy Store and download it like any other application. If you live in an unsupported region, the VPN trick should now be even easier given the software is live in more regions.
