Tipster finds Note references on Samsung websites

Samsung has recently launched the Galaxy S21 FE, and now the company is getting ready for another big launch, as the Galaxy S22 is expected to see the daylight in the first weeks of February.

The Galaxy S22 is obviously a critical product in Samsung’s mobile strategy, but as it turns out, the South Koreans are already preparing for several other exciting unveilings.

Foldable devices are currently playing an essential role in Samsung’s long-term push, but at the same time, it looks like the Galaxy Note series could be making a comeback this year.

Galaxy Note 22?

Samsung skipped a Galaxy Note refresh last year, and while the company confirmed it could bring back this model at one point, no further information was ever offered.

Now tipster TechInsider has come across references to a new Note model on Samsung’s websites, though right now, these are nothing else than mentions of such a device.

The signature feature of the Note was support for a stylus, but given such capabilities are already available on other Samsung devices, including the Samsung Galaxy S Ultra and the company’s foldables, it’ll certainly be interesting to see how this model stands out from the crowd.

Judging by Samsung’s previous Note announcements, the new model could see the daylight at some point in the summer, most likely in late August. If everything goes according to the plan and a new Note indeed receives the go-ahead, the device could end up being presented alongside the company’s new foldables, though this could always change given we’re likely many months away from this event.

In the meantime, the good news is the Note might be returning, though the biggest challenge for Samsung will probably be to find a slot in its lineup that really makes sense for a new device.
