Samsung will take the wraps off the Galaxy Note 10 later this week, and the announcement will include tons of new features, including what’s very likely to be an upgraded fast charging mode.

The South Korean company itself confirmed that the device would support the so-called Superfast Charge, albeit for the time being, it doesn’t offer any specifics on its performance.

The company lists this feature as one of the highlights of the Note 10 on the Galaxy First Look event page. This event takes place at the Samsung 837 store in New York City and is specifically supposed to provide visitors with a first look at the new smartphone just after the official launch.

“Join us at Samsung 837 for a preview of the latest Samsung Galaxy device. Be among the first to get hands on with all the highly anticipated new features. These include Intelligent Battery, Superfast Charge, Wireless PowerShare, the next-generation S Pen, and so much more,” the announcement reads.

45W fast charging maybe?

While no details are available for the time being, what we do know for certain is that Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will feature 25W fast charging. This feature is already available on a series of other Samsung smartphones, including the Galaxy S10 5G, and it certainly makes sense to debut on the Note 10 as well.

However, people familiar with the matter said Samsung could even enable 45W fast charging on the Note 10, albeit the same people said an adapter wouldn’t be offered in the box. In other words, while this feature will be offered, we’d have to buy the chargers separately from the Samsung store.

A confirmation in this regard isn’t yet available, so we’ll just have to wait a few more days until Samsung rolls out the official announcement about the Galaxy Note 10.
