Three new mid-range smartphones could be unveiled soon

Before the Galaxy S8, Samsung is expected to launch at least three mid-range smartphones in the Galaxy A series. They have been rumored for quite a while and we believe it's just a matter of days before the South Korean company makes them official.

It's very possible that the Galaxy A3 (2017), Galaxy A5 (2017), and Galaxy A7 (2017) will be unveiled at Consumers Electronics Show (CES) trade fair, which is set to kick off on January 5.

We've already reported about each of these devices, even though we didn't really have any information confirmed by Samsung.

Those of you who can't wait to get their hands on one of these new Galaxy A 2017 smartphones are in luck today, as Samsung has just confirmed one feature that will come inside these devices: water resistance.

Samsung Mobile Malaysia has just tweeted an unusual message to its followers: “It all begins with A. Hold your breath.”

The image containing the text also includes some water droplets, which makes us believe the Galaxy A 2017, or at least most of the devices in the family, will offer some form of water resistance.

Previous rumors suggest that the Galaxy A7 (2017) will feature IP68 certification for dust and water resistance, but the tweet published today might indicate the other two smartphones could benefit from the same feature.

It makes perfect sense for Samsung to add water resistance to the Galaxy A7 (2017) since it's the most powerful of the three Galaxy A 2017 series smartphones rumored to arrive early next year.

We don't want to disappoint anyone, so let's not make any assumptions and wait for Samsung to announce these new Android smartphones.

Speaking of which, if the South Korean company introduces the Galaxy A 2017 series at CES, it will probably take some weeks before the devices actually become available for purchase.
