Samsung’s latest and greatest version of One UI is 4.1, and it debuted not a long time ago on the Galaxy S22 series.

With the device now shipping to customers worldwide, the South Korean company is now working on bringing the One UI 4.1 update to more devices out there.

And in an announcement today, it confirmed the update would go live to more Galaxy smartphones, starting with the foldable lineup and the previous Galaxy S generation.

More specifically, the Galaxy Z Fold3 and the Galaxy Z Flip3 are the next in the queue to receive the One UI 4.1 update. Then, the Galaxy S21 will get the update as well, and so will the Galaxy A series and the Tab S7 FE.

As the rollout makes more progress, it will eventually include more devices, including the S20, the Z Fold, the Z Flip, and even the Galaxy Note. The S10 is the oldest Galaxy S to receive One UI 4.1.

One UI 4.1 improvements

Samsung has also highlighted some of the changes that are bundled with One UI 4.1, including the Expert RAW editing capabilities.

“This DSLR-like experience means you can edit both photos and videos with total precision, satisfying your eye for detail using a comprehensive suite of in-camera editing tools. Plus, the app allows you to save files in both JPG and DNG format, so you can truly edit like a pro. Expert RAW gives you complete creative freedom, from brightening or darkening photos with ISO controls to choosing between multiple lenses to capture any subject or scene,” Samsung explained.

At this point, there’s no calendar for the rollout to the devices mentioned above, but the first devices should receive the update sooner rather than later. Of course, the whole thing will happen in stages to devices across the world.
