File this under rumors or preliminary information since it's a bit too early to talk about certain things at the moment. Even though the Galaxy S7 hasn't been officially unveiled yet, the first pieces of information about Samsung next Galaxy Note phablet have just emerged.

The news comes directly from China, via Weibo, which makes it rather unreliable. However, some of the specs that are said to be offered inside the Galaxy Note 6 are not unusual, so they might end up as part of the final product.

Long story short, Samsung Galaxy Note is now expected to boast a massive 5.8-inch Slim RGB AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that will support the already-standard Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution.

The RGB AMOLED display included in the Galaxy Note 6 should be brighter than standard Super AMOLED screens and more energy-efficient. We should also note that the display is 0.1 inches larger than that of the predecessor.

Two chipset solutions, 64GB or 128GB models

There's no information on the chipset inside, but there's a high chance it will come in two variants with either Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 CPU or Exynos 8890 processor, just like the Galaxy S7.

But that's when things go crazy, as Galaxy Note 6 is rumored to pack 6GB of RAM, which would make it the first flagship to come with such a high amount of RAM.

Even if this might sound unbelievable, Samsung already has the technology required. The South Korean company informed us back in September that it had started mass production of 12Gb chips, which would be available in 3GB and 6GB packages.

The LPDDR4 memory devices announced by Samsung last year are manufactured using the 20nm-class process technology and more eco-friendly than the predecessor.

Furthermore, the leaker claims the Galaxy Note 6 will include a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera, probably the same that will be embedded in the Galaxy S7 and is already available in Nexus 6P/5X.

The main camera is said to feature OIS (optical image stabilization) Plus, which should provide a 20 percent improvement in stabilization over cameras with standard OIS.

Samsung won't drop the S Pen, so fans of the Galaxy Note series will see the stylus again. Also, Galaxy Note 6 will come with either 64GB or 128GB (UFS 2.0) of internal memory, but there's no mention of microSD card slot. How do you like these Galaxy Note 6 rumored specs?
