14 DAY TRIAL // Capcom recently announced that the Resident Evil 3 Collector's Edition is now available for pre-order in Europe and the EMEA region. Unlike the US version that sells for $180, European retailers will offer the game for no less than £215, but that probably won't stop fans from buying this special edition.
As some of you probably know already, Resident Evil 3 will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam on April 3, 2020. The Collector’s Edition contains a physical copy of Resident Evil 3, a high-quality Jill Valentine figure, printed artbook, a Raccoon City map wall poster, and a digital Resident Evil 3 soundtrack. Keep in mind though unlike the US version, the European Collector's Edition includes 2 physical discs with the soundtrack, so it's not digital.
For those who haven't played the game yet, since this is a remake of the original, Resident Evil 3 is set amidst the nightmarish outbreak of the T-virus, a biological weapon developed by the pharmaceutical company Umbrella Corporation. The game marks the debut of Nemesis, a huge abomination designed for brutality and high-functioning intelligence.
Nemesis' main goal is to hunt S.T.A.R.S. member Jill Valentine. Armed with an arsenal of high-powered weaponry and wrapped in a black suit, Nemesis will maim, pulverize or destroy any obstacle on the path to his target.
Along with the single-player campaign, Resident Evil 3 Remake features an asymmetrical 4 vs. 1 multiplayer mode originally unveiled as a working title at Tokyo Game Show, which is called Resident Evil Resistance.
Capcom announced that all those who pre-order the Standard or Collector’s Edition will also receive the exclusive Classic Costume Pack that features the original design for Jill Valentine and hairstyle for Carlos Oliveira, but you should check with your retailer to make sure you get these freebies.
