14 DAY TRIAL // Surprise, surprise! Developer Stormind Games and publisher Modus Games have just announced that the horror sequel Remothered: Broken Porcelain will launch one week earlier. Although the game was supposed to come out on October 20, horror fans will be able to play the Remothered: Broken Porcelain as early as October 13.
It would indeed have made more sense to release this one closer to Halloween, we're sure that fans will be more than happy to be able to play the game earlier. Remothered: Broken Porcelain is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam). In case you're wondering, the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game cost £25 / €30 / $30, while the Nintendo Switch version will be available for £30 / €35 / $35.
“This is an incredibly busy month for games, particularly horror games. While moving dates forward isn’t common, we’d like to allow horror fans to get their hands on Broken Porcelain early so players can have more time to experience all the great games releasing around Halloween,” said Shane Bierwith, EVP of global marketing at Modus.
The sequel to critically-acclaimed horror Remothered: Tormented Fathers, Broken Porcelain features new gameplay mechanics and narrative elements that are meant to frighten even the bravest of players.
According to developers, Remothered: Broken Porcelain acts as both prequel and sequel to its predecessor. The game weaves events from the first entry into this all-new experience that pulls fans and newcomers alike into an incredibly immersive and haunting experience, all centered around the mysterious happenings of the Ashmann Inn.
Expect intense stealth gameplay, challenging puzzles expanded lore, and a haunting soundtrack by composer Luca Balboni (Remothered: Tormented Fathers, Mine, Watch Them Fall). Also, for the first time in the series, the game will include fully animated real-time cinematics that will breathe new life into the characters.
