Developer Gunfire Games and publisher Perfect World Entertainment have just revealed that the second and last DLC for Remnant: From the Ashes, Subject 2923 will be launched on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on August 20.

Subject 2023 will be available for purchase for $10 / €10, a decent price considering that this is the largest DLC for Remnant: From the Ashes. It includes new content in the form of a new campaign mode, which concludes the game's post-apocalyptic story and adds all-new quests, bosses, weapons, trinkets, armor sets, and more.

It's also important to mention that the DLC will introduce the mysterious abandoned military base, “Ward Prime,” one of the DLC’s two unique zones. Players that take on the expedition to the military facility world of Ward Prime in Subject 2923 will find that it holds many unsolved mysteries, including the origins of “The Dreamers” and how they connect to the dreaded Root, the evil force plaguing Earth.

To put an end to the Root once and for all, players will need to explore Ward Prime and uncover the truth behind the tragic events in the Ward, the Dreamer Program, and the various other Wards within the Remnant: From the Ashes multiverse.

Along with the new DLC, Perfect World Entertainment announced a Complete Edition of Remnant: From the Ashes, which will include the base game, the first premium DLC Swamps of Corsus and the upcoming premium DLC Subject 2923, will be available on August 20 on PC and consoles for $49.99.

Currently, Remnant: From the Ashes is available digitally for $40 / €40 on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, but a physical version can be had via Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop and other retailers for the same price. That makes the Complete Edition much more appealing to those who don't own the game yet since it includes both premium DLCs for just $10 / €10 extra.
