14 DAY TRIAL // Remnant: From the Ashes was one of the most pleasant surprises from 2019, so it's no wonder that developer Gunfire Games and publisher Perfect World have decided to release more content for fans of the game.
The next DLC for the sleeper hit Remnant: From the Ashes is called Swamps of Corsus and will be available for $9.99. Initially, the DLC will be released on PC via Steam on April 28, but Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions will be launched at a later date.
Those who don't own the original game will be able to purchase a new bundle containing the Remnant: From the Ashes base game and the new DLC, which will be available on Steam for $44.99 starting April 28, and later on consoles.
Currently, Remnant: From the Ashes is available digitally for $39.99 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Also, the physical version is also available now at Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, among other retailers for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for the same price.
As far as the new DLC goes, Swamps of Corsus promises to deliver an upgraded version of the primordial world of Corsus, one of the less explored levels in Remnant: From the Ashes. The upcoming DLC will add three powerful weapons and mods, four challenging side dungeons, epic bosses and enemies, and more.
But that's not all, as developer Gunfire Games revealed that the DLC will add a new roguelike game mode called “Survival Mode” that will have players start from nothing and fight for survival to acquire unique armor and over 50 new armor skins.
Veterans of the game will travel randomly through corrupted World Stones to different biomes seeking epic new rewards, all the while fighting to survive against insanely difficult bosses and enemies. Players who prefer story over sandbox experiences will be able to delve into the expanded Swamps of Corsus biome where they will find new story content, such as quests and events.
