Google has been paying special attention to its Google Now personal assistant available on many Android-running smartphones. The company has released a new update that allows users to create reminders in a much easier way, while the interface has also undergone some changes.

Google Now enables consumers to use voice commands in order to search the Internet or applications installed on the phone. It also comes with a feature that helps users create reminders easily or add alarms to cards stored on their devices.

Users can add a specific time and date to their reminders so that they can differentiate between reminders and set alarms in an efficient way. The process of adding reminders is even faster now, as Google has released a feature that allows users to create cards instantly, according to Android Police. Before this, when a voice command was provided, Google Now created a short countdown in the form of a blue line.

The update to Google Now has already started rolling out

Users can create cards either by activating the voice command or by manual text input. When the card appears, the reminder is automatically set so that you don't need to tap the check button or perform any other actions. The Edit button allows you to adjust the time and date on the reminder, or add a title and set a repeat frequency. The change has already started rolling out.

Just a few days ago, Google announced that it made some changes to Google Now, which will now offer better symptom searches. The feature started rolling out in the US but will be made available worldwide shortly.

Other than that, the company has also added text select and image search features to Google Now on Tap, thus making it a breeze to select words and search for pictures using the personal assistant app.
